Ternative Music???

Apparently there is a new term for “good music” being used by “hipster indie kids”. I’ve been looking at this blog called. http://www.hipsterrunoff.com/

Now i’ve listened to about the first couple of minutes of this guys podcast. Even thought I might be getting a sense of “deserve high-arc-al” wisdon, egotism, the man does create a bit of irony to which i respect.

His most recent piece is about street musicians, or reaching people via “subway bands”

He also made a statement regaurding Pavement, how they ‘came out of retirement to possibly exploit a growing market, using their lofi/electro/chillwave effects to woo avid buyers of the ever popular indie trend.

Either way… its all relative.
